How to judge the professionalism of studying abroad agency

(1) Whether the intermediary qualification is qualified or not: the legal intermediary should hang a valid business license with the words "studying abroad intermediary service" issued by the industrial and commercial department and a certificate of qualification of the intermediary service agency for studying abroad at one's own expense issued by the Ministry of education at a prominent position in the office.

(2) According to the relevant regulations, the intermediary service agency for studying abroad cannot set up branches. The applicant should pay attention to whether the business license and "qualification certificate" of the agency are original, whether they are valid certificates, and whether the office address of the agency is consistent with the registered address of the certificate.

(3) Whether the intermediary agreement is filed or not: it depends on whether the intermediary company has the intermediary service agreement for studying abroad which has been filed in the local education department and numbered in sequence, and whether the rights and obligations of both parties in the agreement are reasonable, and whether there are provisions on refund of fees, etc.

(4) It depends on the quality of the intermediary: it depends on whether there are highly professional consultants, whether they are familiar with the national policy of studying abroad, whether they understand the foreign education and cultural conditions, and whether they have any experience in educational services.

(5) See if the intermediary charges are unreasonable: regular intermediary agencies generally do not charge at one time, but charge in stages according to the procedures, and they all promise to refund the fees if they fail to do so. The fees charged by some illegal study abroad agencies far exceed those charged by legal agencies.
