Liu Dazhuang, male, was born in November 1934 in Taikang County, Henan Province. He graduated from the Department of chemistry of Henan University in 1954 and stayed in school to teach. He moved to Xinxiang with the Department of chemistry of Henan University in 1956. He is now a doctoral supervisor / Professor of School of chemical engineering and energy of Zhengzhou University.

Character experience

He once served as deputy director of Chemical Engineering Department, former vice president of Zhengzhou Institute of technology, former vice president of Zhengzhou University of technology, and the first academic leader of chemical engineering discipline of Zhengzhou University of technology. He was a professor in 1986, approved as a doctoral supervisor by the academic committee of the State Council in 1993, and employed as a part-time professor and doctoral supervisor of Tianjin University in 1994. Six doctoral students have obtained their doctorates.

Research direction

He has been engaged in chemical technology teaching and scientific research for a long time. Mainly engaged in catalytic engineering research work.

Main contributions

An equation for the optimization of the optimum process conditions of a series of reactions has been proposed. After it was published in IEC magazine, levanspiel has drawn a diagram for this equation to promote its application. The kinetic equation of active component loss on solid catalyst has been put forward for the first time in the world. It provides direct experimental evidence for GPLE sintering kinetics. In recent years, fruitful work has been made in emulsion polymerization, coatings and adhesives.
