Gongbujiangda County, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs towns and 10 administrative villages, including xiuba village, Zhongdang village, duiguo village, Xueka village, zimuzong village, dongma village, laru village, langse village, bangjiu village and Dingdang village. The town government is located in langse village.

Bahe town is located in the east of gongbujiangda County, Linzhi City, Tibet. It is adjacent to baiba Town, Bayi District in the southeast, zhongsa Township in the West and zhula Township in the north. It is 45 kilometers away from gongbujiangda County in the West.

In 2017, there were 2847 people in the town.

On July 24, 2019, Bahe town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.

In September 1959, four small townships were merged into Xueka Township, which was changed into districts in 1964 and townships in September 1987. In 1996, it covers an area of 190 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It governs 18 administrative villages including Deju, Zhongdang, duiguo, Xueka, zimuzong, lianba, Gala, jiare, dongma, laru, MoBa, cuojiu, langse, Garang, bangjiu, Dingdang, xiuba and Weiba. It is the only way from the county to Bayi Town, cuogao Township, zhula Township and Basong lake, the famous tourist attraction of Linzhi city. The altitude of the township government is 3220 meters. The main river in Bahe town is Bahe River, which flows into Niyang River from north to south, with a total length of 89 km.

318 National Highway and Lalin high-grade highway pass through Bahe town. Lalin high-grade highway has entrances and exits in Bahe town. in May 1999, the construction of Bahe small market town started. Since then, the beautiful town of Bahe has begun to take shape. in June 2013, the project of benefiting people in Xueka village of Bahe town was started, including farmland irrigation project and low yield farmland transformation, with a total investment of more than 1.2 million yuan. In 2016, Bahe town was included in the construction project of characteristic small market town at the autonomous region level. The construction contents include new market town road, water supply and drainage, sewage treatment plant, waterworks, langse Park, and comprehensive renovation project along Minzu road. The estimated total investment of the project is 272.462 million yuan.

Ecological environment protection

In 2014, Bahe town of gongbujiangda County implemented a ban on catching Bahe fish. in June 2014, there were 10 volunteer fire brigades with 60 people in the town, responsible for the daily fire inspection and patrol of the town and village, and the initial fire fighting and rescue.

Local specialties

"Bahe fish", also known as shuangxu heavy lipped fish, is tender and delicious. According to Tibetan medical records, it has high medicinal value.

famous scenery

Xiuba castle in Bahe Town, also known as Rongbao, is the oldest, oldest, densest and best preserved ancient castle group in Tibet. Built in the late Tang Dynasty, the castle has a history of more than 1600 years.
