Piedmont Street
Shanqian street, located in the east of Fuding City, is located in the junction of urban and rural areas. It is adjacent to Yandun mountain in the East, tongshanxi in the west, Qianqi town in the South and tonglianling town in the north, covering an area of 28.8 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 41793 people (2010). It is one of the important windows of Fujian Zhejiang border.
Before October 1998, piedmont was under the jurisdiction of Tongshan town and Tongcheng Town respectively. In October 1998, Shanqian sub district office was set up to dispatch administrative agencies for the municipal government.
In October 1999, the first Congress of CPC Shanqian street was held, and the first CPC Shanqian Street Committee was elected. It covers an area of 5.3 square kilometers. Population 41793 (2010). The office is located at 1 Tonghe road.

Historical evolution
It's named for its location in front of Pingdingshan. From 1955 to 1979, Shanqian Street Revolutionary Committee has been the Shanqian Street office since 1980.
Honors
In November 2020, novel coronavirus pneumonia was awarded the advanced collective honor of Fujian province.
