Step 1: soak glutinous rice in water for 2 hours
Step 2: soak job's tears in water for 2 hours
Step 3: wash the mung beans, red beans and lotus seeds and put them into the pot
Step 4: red dates (I use Hetian Junzao, especially sweet) and longan are washed and put into the pot
Step 5: put all the ingredients into the pot, and then put in cold water. Make sure there is more water. Cover the pot and start to cook. When the mung beans and red beans bloom, put in rock sugar and cook over low heat for about an hour

Note: lotus seeds don't need to be soaked, but can't be boiled after soaking
