Homemade lotus paste
Introduction:
"For the lotus seed paste made by myself, the lotus seed is not removed from the lotus heart. In order to reduce the amount of sugar, a little maltose is added. If you give white granulated sugar, you can add it in the process of frying."
Production steps:
Step 1: soak lotus seeds in cold water.
Step 2: pour into the pot and add proper amount of water. (I didn't pick out the lotus seeds and cooked them together)
Step 3: add rock sugar and cook. (turn to medium heat after boiling)
Step 4: cooked lotus seeds.
Step 5: grind with a shovel. (you can put it in a fresh-keeping bag and crush it with a knife or rolling pin)
Step 6: add proper amount of cooking oil. In the same direction.
Step 7: add appropriate amount of maltose and stir fry in one direction. (no need to add)
Step 8: blend the oil and sugar into the lotus seed paste. Let it cool.
Step 9: make a shape.
Materials required:
Lotus seed: 250g
Rock sugar: right amount
Maltose: right amount
Edible oil: right amount
Note: lotus seeds must be soaked in cold water. It's easier to cook in a pressure cooker. Pay attention to the heat when frying, do not paste the pot.
