Shibi Hakka ancestor worship custom is a traditional ancestor worship ritual among Hakkas in Ninghua County, Fujian Province.

In the history of our country, several important northerners moved to the south, forming a unique Hakka ethnic group of the Chinese nation. Ninghua is the gathering place of Hakkas when they move south, so it is called "Hakka ancestral land" at home and abroad, as "Hakka cradle" and "Hakka pilgrimage center". As the saying goes, "there are big locust trees in the north and Shibi village in the South".

Shibi Hakka ancestor worship began in Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty. There are more than 200 ancestral temples and ancestral temples built in Shibi Hakka areas, covering 16 villages and towns in the county, which are the central places for ancestor worship.

Hakka ancestor worship follows the ancient rites and is divided into spring and autumn sacrifice. Spring Festival in Qingming Festival, also known as Qingming Festival; Autumn Festival in the first day of the eighth lunar month, also known as autumn Qingming Festival. The scale of public sacrifice (or official sacrifice) is grand. Family sacrifices (or private sacrifices or family sacrifices) are jointly held by the descendants of the same surname, either in ancestral halls or in ancestral tombs to honor their ancestors, Mu Zong.
