Hani multi voice folk song has a long history, which is mainly spread in several Hani villages in Honghe County of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. Hani's multi voice folk songs include praising labor, praising love, and eulogizing the beautiful scenery of mountains and countryside. The most representative repertoire is "I am at AZ" (planting seedlings folk song) and "love song". There are two ways of singing: instrumental accompaniment and vocal accompaniment without instrumental accompaniment. The singing occasions of Hani's multi voice folk songs are diverse, and terraces, forests and villages can be their performance space. The accompaniment instruments are all made by folk singers themselves. Sanxian and xiaoerhu are only used in Puchun village.
