Tianjin College of Beijing University of science and technology, approved by the Ministry of education in 2005, is a full-time independent college with undergraduate level, which is jointly organized by Beijing University of science and technology and Guangdong Pearl River Investment Group Co., Ltd.

Relying on the high-quality education resources of Beijing University of science and technology, the college implements "application-oriented" theoretical teaching and "professional ability training as the main line" practical teaching, and cultivates application-oriented undergraduate talents with solid theoretical foundation, strong practical skills, high comprehensive quality and innovative spirit to meet the needs of economic and social development. The partner Guangdong Zhujiang Investment Co., Ltd. and its enterprise alliance are involved in real estate, infrastructure, logistics, education, communication, transportation, energy and other industries. The college is located at No.1, East Pearl River North Ring Road, Beijing Tianjin new city, Baodi District, Tianjin. Covering an area of 1297 mu, the college has completed the first and second phases of construction, with a building area of 295000 square meters. Teaching building, laboratory, library, gymnasium, swimming pool, student canteen, dormitory, campus greening and other construction is complete. The college has 9 departments, including civil engineering, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, visual communication design, communication engineering, computer science and technology, automation, international economy and trade, financial engineering, accounting, financial management, law, intellectual property, English, music performance and other majors, involving six disciplines of engineering, management, arts, economics, law and art.

The college has a rigorous teaching staff. Wu Aixiang, Qu xuanhui and long Keping, three distinguished professors of Yangtze River scholars and winners of national fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, have been employed as leaders of relevant disciplines of the college to undertake teaching tasks and guide young teachers' teaching and scientific research. The "famous teacher project" was implemented, and famous experts and scholars from "985" and "211" universities in Beijing and Tianjin were invited to teach in the college.
