Hui costumes have distinctive national characteristics, mainly including shawl, daisdar, maisaihai socks, zhunbai, worship cap, cap and so on.

The raw materials of the shoulders are cloth, silk, silk, hemp, etc., including clips, cotton, sheets, etc. they can be worn in winter and summer. They can be used as underwear or outerwear. They are easy to roll their sleeves to wash and work, and are not easy to get cold.

Dasdar is a Persian word, which means to wrap a turban. It originated from the "dasdar" that was wrapped on the head when Muhammad, the founder of Islam, spread Islam in his early days. The color is mainly white and yellow. Maisaihai socks are Arabic, which means leather socks. They are made of cow leather. They are clean, bright, strong and durable. According to Islamic regulations, Muslims must wash Xiaojing five times a day. If they put on the Mai saihai socks, they can avoid the foot washing procedure in Xiaojing and use wet hands to wipe the toe to heel of the socks. Quasi white is also Arabic, which means robe. The color of the hat is mainly white and black, but also gray, blue and green. White hats are mostly made of cotton cloth, and some are made of white thread, which is used in autumn and winter. The headscarf is a traditional headscarf of Muslim women, such as Hui nationality, which is used to cover hair, ears and neck to show face. Islam regards women's hair as "shameful body". The Koran emphasizes that Muslim women must "look down and cover their shameful body". In order to cover their hair, as well as to prevent sand and keep clean, the custom of Muslim women covering their heads has gradually formed.
