Jianping paper-cut is popular in Jianping County, Liaoning Province, the main birthplace of Liaohe civilization. The painted pottery and jade unearthed from Niuheliang Hongshan cultural site are similar to Jianping paper-cut in terms of modeling methods and external characteristics, showing a potential cultural heritage relationship. Jianping paper-cut some of the themes of modeling is very unique, and even directly with the Hongshan cultural sites unearthed jade pig dragon and other modeling coincide, Jianping famous local paper-cut artist Zhu Ruilian paper-cut work "dragon play ball" in the treatment of the dragon to maintain the pig head, antler, snake body, chicken feet, Phoenix tail of the traditional modeling style.
