Brief introduction of lianhualuo
Applicant: Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province
Lianhualuo, also known as "Jinzhong Luozi", is an ancient folk art variety widely popular in Shanxi Province. Since the 20th century, its development and performance have flourished in Taiyuan and declined one after another in other areas, so it is often called "Taiyuan lotus fall".
Lianhualuo was introduced to Shanxi in the middle of Qing Dynasty. Up to now, the popular form of performance is one person self striking bamboo board (two big and five small, commonly known as "seven pieces") accompaniment rhyme recitation, mainly chanting, sometimes with white. There are also two person to person and multi person performances. The libretto is basically composed of seven characters and four sentences, which emphasizes rhyme. Traditional programs include long stories of five women in the Tang Dynasty, wanhualou, Hu Yanqing's challenge, and short stories of little couple fighting and little widow going to a new grave.
It is known that Li liangen, the earliest artist of lianhualuo in Shanxi Province, was good at performing "big eight righteousness" and "small eight righteousness" in the first half of the 20th century. During the Anti Japanese War, Ren Wuer, an artist of lotus falling blind in mijiazhuang, Jiaocheng County, produced a large number of new programs, such as recover Xiaoyi and Wenshui. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Lu Zhu of Jiaocheng County, under the guidance of the county cultural center, adapted and performed a long new program "biography of heroes of Luliang", which had a great influence. In the early 1960s, Cao Qiang, a young crosstalk actor of Taiyuan quyi Federation, studied lianhualuo performance under the guidance of Li liangen, and devoted himself to mining and sorting out the artistic materials of lianhualuo. His own lianhualuo choreography focuses on real life themes, stresses humor, and becomes a school of his own.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, the old artists are old, and there are few young and middle-aged performers. Their skills can not be inherited, and they are facing survival crisis, so they need to be protected urgently.
