Ligang street was officially established in 2013. It was originally set up in Ligang town of Jiangyin City.

brief introduction

On April 12, 2013, the people's Government of Jiangsu Province issued the document No.38 [2013] of suzhengfu, which agreed to abolish Ligang town of Jiangyin City and set up Ligang sub district office of Jiangyin City with its original administrative region. The sub district office is located at No.28 Likang road of Jiangyin City, with an administrative area of 59.42 square kilometers and a population of 80900, managing 11 neighborhood committees and 6 village committees.

Li Gang street is located in the northwest of Jiangyin. The area is 59.42 square kilometers, of which 1727 hectares are the water surface and 58 thousand are registered residence. The people's Government of the street is located at 28 Li Kang Road East, and 22 kilometers west of the municipal government. It has jurisdiction over 17 villages and 4 communities of Xingli, Ligang, Chenshu and xishiqiao. The town's social undertakings are booming and making all-round progress. The town adheres to the economic construction as the center, focusing on the construction of "modern agricultural demonstration area". Industry and agriculture are developing rapidly, and the infrastructure is perfect.
