In the early days of liberation, it belonged to Shannan township. Huishan town was established in 1952. It was changed to Huishan street in 1955. In June 1958, it was transferred from the West New District to Beitang District. In October 1958, Huishan street, Xixin Street (established in 1955) and dingjiangli street were merged into Huishan commune. In April 1960, it was renamed Xihui branch of Taihu District commune. Huishan street and Xixin street were restored in February 1962. In 1965, Xixin street and Huishan street were merged into Huishan street. In December 1978, it was divided into gongnongbing Street (changed to Xixin street in 1981) and Huishan street with the new canal of Beijing airlines as the boundary. Huishan National Forest Park is located in the west of Wuxi City, 3 kilometers away from the city center. It was built in 1993, covering an area of 933.33 hectares. Huishan is the remnant of Tianmu Mountain, adjacent to the Grand Canal and three peaks on the top of the mountain. The main peak is 328 meters high, which is called toumao peak, Ermao peak and Sanmao peak in turn, also known as Jiulong Mountain. Because there are many springs on the mountain, it is famous all over the world as "Jiulong thirteen springs" and known as "the first mountain in the south of the Yangtze River". There are five scenic spots in Huishan National Forest Park, namely Shimen scenic spot, dongdachi scenic spot, ermaofeng scenic spot, sanmaofeng scenic spot and ornamental plant scenic spot. There is a 6-meter-wide and 624 kilometer long mountain pass built in the park. To the top of the mountain, wild flowers bloom on both sides of the mountain road, swaying with the wind, reflecting with the trees to welcome visitors from afar. Huishan National Forest Park is a green barrier for Wuxi.
