Hongmo town is under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Hongmo town is located in the southwest of the county, 60 kilometers away from the county. ，。 The road is open. Historical evolution
During the period of the Republic of China, Beishan model political guidance area was set up; in 1961, Hongmao Magu Yi Autonomous Region (district level) was changed; in 1966, Hongmo district was renamed; in 1993, Hongmo district was abolished and Ruji, Hongmo and Taoyuan townships were merged into jianhongmo town.
