Nanjing University Science Park

Nanjing University Science Park is located in the north of Xianlin Campus of Nanjing University. It is an important carrier for the Management Committee of Nanjing Xianlin University Town to carry out cooperation between government, industry, University and research institutes relying on Nanjing University and surrounding universities and scientific research institutes. It is also an important platform for Nanjing to build "Xianbao wisdom Valley".

Nanjing University Science Park was officially established in August 2009, covering an area of 1000 mu, with a total construction area of about 750000 square meters and an estimated total investment of 5 billion yuan.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Park: implement innovation and entrepreneurship general education for Xianlin universities; provide senior management education and training for East China; provide learning and training in China for international famous universities; carry out research, experiment and incubation of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Space science and Technology Park: to meet the needs of world science and technology frontier and national strategy, to create astronomy and space science and technology research institutions with international influence, and to build a national scientific research and industrial base.

Smart Park: focus on the development of new generation information technology, new generation modern communication technology and new generation optoelectronic technology with the Internet of things as the core, and focus on the research and development of key technologies such as radio frequency identification (RFID), sensor, smart chip, wireless transmission network and smart grid.

Memorabilia

On the afternoon of January 31, 2013, Nanjing Institute of environmental science of the Ministry of environmental protection signed a cooperation agreement with the Management Committee of Xianlin University Town. The Institute will invest in the construction of a new scientific research area in the Science Park of Nanjing University, and three key laboratories of the Ministry of environmental protection, including the National Key Laboratory of environmental protection, pesticide environmental assessment and pollution control, will be located in the whole area.
