Sanquan town is subordinate to Fenyang City, Shanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Fenyang City. It has 24 administrative villages, with a total area of 83 square kilometers and a total population of 32678.

Sanquan town is located in the southwest of Fenyang City, adjacent to Xiaoyi City, bordering Yangcheng Township, Lijiazhuang Township, Yangjiazhuang Township and Shizhuang Township, with a cultivated area of 69600 mu, a total area of 83 square kilometers and a total population of 33433. The territory has convenient transportation, 340 provincial road runs through the north and south, city and township highway, Hanshi line runs across the East and West, 307 National Road, Donglu expressway, Xiaoliu railway cross the border. Luliang Sanquan coking Industrial Park is a circular economy industrial park integrating coal mining, coal washing, coking, refractory material smelting, gas comprehensive utilization, chemical products processing and power generation. It is one of the eight coking industrial parks determined by the provincial government and one of the seven industrial parks determined by Luliang City. In 2006, it was named "Shanxi demonstration Industrial Park" by the provincial Economic Commission. The planned area is 20.18 square kilometers, the recently planned area is 6.5 square kilometers, and the built-up area is 3.2 square kilometers. The "six links and one leveling" of infrastructure has been realized. At present, 13 enterprises have settled in the park, realizing coking capacity of 5.7 million tons.
