Nanjing Pukou Economic Development Zone

Nanjing Pukou Economic Development Zone, located in Qiaolin street, Pukou District, Nanjing City, is located in the Delta and the gateway of Nanjing metropolitan area to the central and western regions. It is one of the first batch of provincial-level economic development zones in Jiangsu Province, and is now actively applying for national development zones. Pukou Economic Development Zone is a characteristic industrial park dominated by biomedicine, high-tech textile and electronic information. Basic introduction

Nanjing Pukou Economic Development Zone is located at the Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel of Pukou new town. It was approved as a provincial Economic Development Zone by the provincial government in December 1993, with a planning area of 12.65 square kilometers. In August 2008, Nanjing cross-strait science and Technology Industrial Park was relocated to Pukou Economic Development Zone, with a total area of 16 square kilometers. It is planned as "one park and two zones", including a science and technology zone of 6 square kilometers west of weiqi road cross river tunnel and a manufacturing zone of 10 square kilometers east of Qiaolin new city. Qiaolin new town

In September 2006, Pukou Economic Development Zone and Sanqiao Development Zone established in 2005 carried out resource integration. In December 2009, according to the strategic plan of Pukou District Party committee and Pukou District government, the Development Zone transferred to Qiaolin to carry out the second pioneering work, and was responsible for the development, construction and capital operation of the 22 square kilometers area of the advanced manufacturing base in the zone in the near future. In June 2010, the development and construction of Qiaolin new area was officially started.

Qiaolin new town is an advanced manufacturing base in Jiangbei new district. According to the newly revised master plan, Qiaolin new town has a total area of about 86.72 square kilometers, of which the urban construction land will reach 25.33 square kilometers in 2020 and 66.43 square kilometers in 2030. Development status

In 2009, Pukou Economic Development Zone achieved industrial sales revenue of 17.308 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.42%; general budget revenue of 572 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.83%; investment in industrial fixed assets of 3.188 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.95%; actual utilization of foreign capital of 110.2 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 8.65%.

In August 2014, Pukou Economic Development Zone became "Nanjing integrated circuit industry base".

In November 2014 and January 2015, under the leadership of Pukou District, the integrated circuit industry base successively initiated the establishment of Nanjing Integrated Circuit Industry Association and Pukou District integrated circuit industry alliance.

In July 2015, Pukou Economic Development Zone was awarded the title of "integrated circuit industry base of Jiangsu Province" by the provincial economic and Information Commission.

Industrial Development

In terms of industrial development, the agglomeration effect of high-tech characteristic industries dominated by biomedicine, high-tech textiles and electronic information has been initially formed. Among them, the biomedical industry has formed an industrial park with complete supporting functions from pharmacy, packaging and medical devices, and a "four in one" pattern of education, R & D, production and sales, with nearly 20 biomedical manufacturing enterprises and R & D institutions engaged in biomedicine, such as Xiansheng pharmaceutical, Liye pharmaceutical, Zhongmai technology, Laoshan pharmaceutical and Yaoda pharmaceutical. The high-tech textile industry has gathered a large number of high-tech textile enterprises, such as Spanish dodge fabric with a total investment of nearly 100 million US dollars, Zhongmai technology with a tax payment of nearly 300 million yuan, Shuyi textile and Jiangsu Yuanda. At present, a number of high-tech electronic manufacturing enterprises, such as Sanle technology, Shihan mould and Hanxu technology, with an investment of more than 600 million yuan, have settled in the electronic information industry.

The first phase of the base covers an area of 5 square kilometers, focusing on the development and construction of three industrial parks of IC design, manufacturing, packaging and testing. Four public service platforms of IC industry, including design, packaging, testing and maker center, have been built and put into operation. Vast industrial hinterland

With a planning area of 20 square kilometers, it is the largest advanced manufacturing base around Nanjing and even in the Yangtze River Delta, which can meet the development needs of five major industry related projects. Covering an area of 10 square kilometers, the manufacturing area of cross strait science and Technology Industrial Park in Nanjing is one of the key industrial modules of the new area, mainly developing integrated circuit, photovoltaic, photoelectric facilities and other industries.

Superior location and transportation
