Si Tuan Town
Situan town is subordinate to Fengxian District of Shanghai. It is located in the easternmost part of Fengxian District, close to Shanghai Lingang New City, Fengcheng town in the west, Haiwan town in the south, Datuan town and Xuanqiao town in Pudong New Area in the north, and 10km away from Donghai Bridge. In 2010, the town covers an area of 74.1 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over four regiment communities, Ping'an communities, Shaochang communities, Ping'an two communities and 21 administrative villages. In 2017, there were 78730 permanent residents in the town.
Siduan town is one of the seven new towns in the "1750" urban system defined in the "implementation plan of Fengxian District Regional master plan (2003-2020)".
In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association confirmed that Situan town was the National Health Township in 2019.
History of construction
In the tenth year of Tianbao (751) of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, Wu county established Huating County in the south of Kunshan County, the east of Jiaxing county and the northeast of Haiyan County.
Since the Yuan Dynasty, the county government was set up in Songjiang Prefecture, and the fourth regiment was under the jurisdiction of Baisha Township, Huating county.
In 1726, Fengxian County was divided into four groups under the jurisdiction of the Tenth Five Year Plan of Baisha Township, Fengxian County.
In 1910, the fourth regiment was transferred to Dongyi township of Fengxian County.
In September 1929, Dongyi township of Fengxian County was changed into the third district of Fengxian County.
In 1933, the third district was changed to the Fifth District, and the fourth regiment set up the district governance organization.
In November 1937, when the Japanese invaders invaded Pudong, the fourth regiment became an enemy occupied area. The county established a "public security association" and the fourth regiment became a branch of public security.
In August 1945, after the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the Kuomintang government returned to power, and the fourth regiment was the Fifth District of Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province. In September, it was changed to the fourth regiment District of Fengxian County. In July of the next year, the fourth regiment district was merged into Fengcheng District, and 14 townships of the former first town of the fourth regiment were merged into one town (the fourth regiment town).
On May 14, 1949, the fourth regiment was liberated and the people's Government of the fourth regiment town was established, which was subordinate to the fifth Office of Fengxian County (Fengcheng), Songjiang District, Southern Jiangsu administrative office.
In 1952, the southern Jiangsu administrative office was abolished, and the fourth regiment was changed into the Fifth District of Fengxian County (Fengcheng District), Songjiang District, Jiangsu Province.
In September 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged.
In 1958, the fourth regiment was transformed into the Fifth District of Fengxian County, Suzhou District, Jiangsu Province. In October, the commune livestock farm was established. On November 24, 2001, Fengxian County was under the jurisdiction of Shanghai Municipality, and the fourth regiment was under the jurisdiction of Fengxian County, Shanghai Municipality.
In March 1959, it was changed into the people's commune of the fourth regiment.
In September 1959, the new city was put under the jurisdiction of Touqiao township. At the end of the year, the management area was abolished.
In May 1961, the production team was changed into a production brigade, and the production team was changed into a production team.
In 1962, the Jinyang brigade separated from the Daqiao brigade, and the Situan Street residents committee was established in the same year.
In 1978, the seed farm of Situan commune was founded.
In 1984, the government and society were separated, the people's Government of Situan township was restored, and the village system under the jurisdiction of the township was established.
On February 14, 1994, the Shanghai Municipal People's government agreed to abolish the system of Si Tuan Township in Fengxian County, establish the people's Government of Si Tuan Town in Fengxian County, and implement the system of village (neighborhood committee) under the jurisdiction of the town (on May 8, Si Tuan held a listing ceremony of "withdrawing the township to build the town").
In July 2001, Fengxian County was removed and built into a district, and siduan town was subordinate to Fengxian District of Shanghai.
On November 21, 2003, the establishment of Situan town and Pingan town was abolished and a new Situan town was established.
In 2010, Ping'an town and Shaochang town were merged.

In October 1949, it had jurisdiction over eight townships and 86 villages, including Si Tuan, San Tuan, Chen Wan, Xin Qiao, San Kan, Yu Cun, Ping'an and Shaochang.
In 1952, there were 33 senior agricultural production cooperatives under its jurisdiction: Tianpeng central cooperative and Tianpeng no.1-8 cooperative, Tuanjie central cooperative and Tuanjie No.1-5 cooperative, Hongqi central cooperative and Hongqi No.1-3 cooperative, Jiguang central cooperative and Jiguang No.1-6 cooperative, Guanghui central cooperative and Guanghui No.1-2 cooperative, Guangming no.2-5 cooperative.
In September 1958, five senior communes in Touqiao new city area were merged into the fourth regiment to establish Dongfanghong people's commune, with seven battalions, 69 companies and 261 platoons.
In March 1959, it was under the jurisdiction of 6 administrative areas (4th regiment, 3rd regiment, ChenWan, Xinqiao, Yucun and Xinshi), 27 production teams and 267 production teams.
At the end of 1959, there were 22 production teams directly under the central government.
In 1962, the commune consisted of 23 production teams, one pasture and one neighborhood committee.
In 1984, the people's Government of Si Tuan township was restored, with 23 villages and one pasture, one seed farm and one neighborhood committee under its jurisdiction.
In 1985, there were 23 administrative villages, 247 villager groups and 1 Si Tuan street in Si Tuan township.
In July 1986, chaichang and panzao villages, No.1 garment factory and No.2 plastic products factory were assigned to Hongmiao township. There were 21 villages (224 villager groups), 1 neighborhood committee, 1 pasture and 1 seed farm in siduan township.
In November 2003, 224 villager groups and 1 neighborhood committee 21 resident group were under the jurisdiction of the town.
In 2004, the town had 43 Administrative Villages: sankan, Zhendong, Zhenxi, tuannan, Jinyang, santuan, Siming, Zhangjia, Changyan, Qinshu, Xiaodang, Puji, Wudun, Xinqiao, Shenjia, Xiajia, Shicun, nanshijia, Yucun, shijiakan, Yuyang, Xiangyang, Tongqiao, Longjian, Pingbei, Pingnan, Pinghai, santuangang, Hongzhuang, May 4th, Qigu, Nongzhan, Minfu, Xinjian Outpost, Shao boot, Hongwei, Shaqi, hengqiao, Yangjiazhai, Wugu, Liangmin.

Situan town is located in the east of Fengxian District of Shanghai, close to Pudong New Area, Fengcheng town in the west, Haiwan town in the south, Shanghai Lingang New Town in the East, 10 kilometers away from Donghai Bridge, covering an area of 72.92 square kilometers.

Siduan town has a north subtropical monsoon climate, and the annual dominant wind is southeast wind. It has four distinct seasons, long in winter and summer, short in spring and autumn, cold in winter, hot and humid in summer, thunderstorm and rainstorm, light, temperature and water in the same season, which is conducive to the growth of crops. Often suffer from typhoons, thunderstorms, lightning, high temperature, tornadoes, low temperature rain and other disastrous weather. The fourth group stratum is a large amount of sediment carried by the Yangtze River current and sea tide, which gradually deposited above the sea surface and became land. After several reclamation and improvement, the soil tillage layer gradually became deep. The soil in the area can be divided into six types: yellow mud head, sandy yellow mud head, gray bottom yellow mud head, shell sand yellow mud head, yellow sand and sand yellow mud head, among which shell sand yellow mud head is concentrated in chaichang village.
Topography
The terrain is flat and belongs to the alluvial plain of the Yangtze River Delta. The bearing capacity of the foundation is 8-10t / m2. It has the highest ground elevation in Shanghai, with an average elevation of 4-4.5m, more than 0.5m higher than the average elevation in Shanghai.

Among them, there are nearly 100 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, such as Plantago asiatica, Herba digesi, Herba Lysimachiae, Herba Opuntiae, duckweed, Herba Lysimachiae, Herba ageratum and Herba deliciosa.

In 2005, the total social output value of Situan town was 7.888 billion yuan, an annual increase of more than 30%; the tax revenue was 423 million yuan, an increase of 67.8% over the previous year; there were more than 4000 tax paying enterprises in the town, including 521 industrial enterprises. In 2007, the total social output value of the town was 10 billion yuan, the industrial output value was 6.5 billion yuan, and the tax revenue was 550 million yuan.
