Kongjiang Road Street

Kongjiang Road Street, named after Kongjiang Road, is located in the middle of Yangpu District, adjacent to Shuangyang Road in the East and Yanji Xincun street; yangshupugang in the west, bordering Jiangpu road street and Siping Road; Zhoujiazui road in the south, bordering Daqiao street; zoumatang in the north, bordering Wujiaochang street and Wujiaochang town. The district covers an area of 2.15 square kilometers, with 25 neighborhood committees and a population of 105613 (2010).

In May 2020, it will be selected as the civilized community of Shanghai from 2018 to 2019.

Historical evolution

It got its name from Kongjiang Road. In 1991, Fengcheng new village and Kongjiang new village were abolished and Kongjiang Road street was established. At the end of 1995, it covers an area of 2.13 square kilometers and has a population of 99000. The office is located at No. 111, Kongjiang first village and has jurisdiction over 44 neighborhood committees. In 2004, it has jurisdiction over Kong No.1 (1), Dongfang village, Xinhui village, Kong Jiang Village No.1, Kong Jiang Village No.2, Kong Jiang Village No.107, Xin Bin Road No.180, Shuangyang, Shuanghua, Kong Jiang Road no.1197, Xin Feng Cheng, Feng ER (1), Feng San (1), Feng San (3), Feng San (4), Feng Si, Feng Wu, Huang Xing, Feng Nan, Feng Xin, Feng ER (2), Feng San (2), Kong Jiang Road No.1200, Wang Chun Hua, Feng San There are 26 neighborhood committees in Chengliu village and dayunsheng.

Traffic environment

Kongjiang Road has convenient traffic in the area. The north-south trunk line includes Shuangyang Road, Huangxing Road, Fengcheng Road and Jiangpu road; the east-west trunk line includes Zhoujiazui Road, Kongjiang Road, Yanji Road, Songhuajiang road and Zhongshan North 2nd road; the inner ring line of Yangpu Bridge runs through the area. There are dozens of bus lines such as No. 90, No. 115 and No. 103, and rail transit line 8 has stations in its jurisdiction. There are 8 schools, including Bilingual School Affiliated to Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Kongjiang Ercun primary school, Kongjiang middle school and Yangpu advanced vocational and technical school. Historical evolution

Kongjiang Road is located in the east of Shanghai. It was built in 1926. At that time, it was located in the north of Shanghai public concession and the south edge of the greater Shanghai plan. At the beginning, it was only a branch road between Huangxing Road and mayushan Road (today's Shuangyang Road) to facilitate people to go to the Far East public sports ground (today's east side of Huangxing Park). The name of the road comes from the phrase "Huating County controls the sea and the river" in the local chronicles of Shanghai county, which means that Huating County in Shanghai originally controls the East China Sea and the Yangtze River. After liberation, Kongjiang Road Combined with the construction of "20000 households" workers' new village in Yangpu District extended to both ends, reaching Dalian Road in the West and Jungong road in the East, with a total length of 4500 meters, turning from a branch road into an east-west trunk road in the middle of Yangpu District. In the middle, there is a bridge across Yangshupu port. Today, the west section of Kongjiang Road (Anshan Road Jiangpu Road) is the famous district level commercial center of Yangpu. In Jiangpu Road, there is Xinhua Hospital, a top three hospital in Shanghai, on Kongjiang Road, and Yangpu Grand Theater and Hualian jimaisheng on Huangxing Road Shuangyang Road outside the inner ring of Kongjiang Road. Kongjiang Road Commercial Street adopts the layout form of "multi node, deep type and combination of strips and blocks", with the newly-built modern commercial agglomeration area of rail transit station as the leader, connecting the middle strip commercial street. Focus on the layout of four node plots, so as to form four business groups: Jiangpu Road station business group, meter factory plot business group, Dahushan Road station business group, Yangpu Grand Theater public cultural activity center.
