Zhenru Town Street

Zhenru street is subordinate to Putuo District of Shanghai, located in the middle of Putuo District. It borders on Shiquan Road in the East, Caoyang Road in the west, Wuning Road and Caoan Road in the south, Changzheng town and Caoyang Xincun street in the west, Taopu town and Zhenxin street in Jiading District in the west, and Shanghai Nanjing railway, Zhennan road and Jiaotong road in the north, Changzheng town and Taopu town in the West. In December 2014, with the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's government, Zhenru town was abolished and Zhenru town sub district office was established. With a total area of 6.05 square kilometers, it governs 36 communities.

In 2013, the population of the Zhen Lu town registered residence was 118 thousand and 600, with a permanent population of 177 thousand and 500. In the whole year, the district level fiscal revenue was 159 million yuan, an increase of 10.13% over 2012, and the domestic registered capital was 606 million yuan.

Zhenru Town Street area has national cultural relics protection unit Zhenru temple, Songhu Anti Japanese War 19th Route Army site, Zhenru town historical and cultural museum and other tourist attractions.

Evolution of organizational system

The land of Zhenru was formed in the fifth and sixth centuries. It was called Taoxi in ancient times and got its name from Taopu.

In Yuan Dynasty, Zhenru temple was relocated and developed, so it was named Zhenru.

Before the tenth year of songding in the Southern Song Dynasty (1217), he was appointed Kunshan and later Jiading.

In 1724, he returned to Baoshan.

In 1928, it was located in Zhenru District of Shanghai.

In 1930, it belonged to Zhenru District of Shanghai.

In January 1946, it was divided into Xinjing district and Dachang District. In April, it was restored to Zhenru district.

After liberation, they successively belonged to Zhenru, Xijiao, Putuo and other districts.

In August 1958, it was transferred to Putuo, and in October of the same year, it was transferred to Jiading County. The establishment of the town was abolished and the people's commune of the long march in Jiading County was returned.

The town system was restored in 1965.

In November 1984, it was divided into Putuo District.

In December 2014, Zhenru town was abolished and Zhenru street was established.

Zhenru Town Street is located in the northwest of Putuo District, Shanghai, adjacent to Cao'an Road, Dongxin village, Shiquan village, Changzheng and Taopu township of Ding county. It is 5km to Shanghai railway station in the East, 2.5km to Putuo District People's Government in the southeast, 7.6km to people's Square in the city center, 3km to Beixinjing in the southwest, 12km to Hongqiao International Airport in the southwest, 5km to Jiangqiao in the west, 12km to Nanxiang in the northwest, 24km to Jiading Chengxiang in the northwest, 7km to Dachang in the northeast. The total area is 6.05 square kilometers.

The rainfall is abundant, and the rainfall intensity is mainly medium and light rain, with an average annual precipitation of about 1100mm. The annual rainfall is 46.50% in spring and autumn, 40.7% in summer and 12.8% in winter. There are plum rains in early summer, southeast monsoon in summer and autumn, commonly known as typhoon, accompanied by rainstorm, which is easy to cause natural disasters.

Topography

Zhenru Town Street is flat with an average elevation of 3.8 meters. The terrain is higher in the north than in the south, and slightly higher in the West than in the East. Due to the long-term large-scale exploitation of groundwater, the ground along the river in the territory of part of the subsidence, whenever the flood season, resulting in the river above the ground phenomenon. The soil in the area is mainly sandy soil, containing a lot of rust soil, containing the combination of iron carbonate and calcium carbonate, so it is not suitable to grow rice; the lower part is Jurassic (J3) volcanic batholith stratum, and the rock is neutral andesite, which was formed about 1.5 billion years ago due to the violent movement of the crust and the magma overflowing the ground, with a thickness of more than 500 meters. The overlying Quaternary strata are 270-290m thick.

In 2010, the Shanghai Nanjing intercity railway was completed and opened to traffic, and the transformed Shanghai West Railway Station became the special station of Shanghai Nanjing high speed railway. There are also many main highways in the territory, among which Zhennan road and Cao'an road at the beginning of national highway 204 and 312 are important passageways leading to inland provinces, with busy passenger and freight transportation.

In 1986, Zhenbei Road Interchange Project was completed and opened to traffic, which solved the serious traffic jam problem of Shanghai Nanjing railway crossing near yangjiaqiao of Zhenbei road. Jingbei Zhennan road can be connected with Qilian Mountain Road and Hujia Expressway. There are 10 bus lines through the station.
