Woniuhe Township, belonging to Sunwu County, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the north of Sunwu County, adjacent to Dahekou forest farm in the East, Xixing Township in the south, Pingshan forest farm in the West and Aihui District in the north. Historical evolution

Woniu River Township got its name from the nearby woniu River, originally under the jurisdiction of Xingbei commune.

In April 1965, the three production teams of woniuhe, Sanchahe and jiancaogou in Xingbei commune were set up to form woniuhe people's commune.

From 1970 to 1973, six production teams including Qianjin and wangjiafu were established.

In 1976, the zhaodiyingzi production team of Xingbei commune was assigned to woniuhe commune.

In 1984, it was changed into woniuhe township.
