Chenming Town, belonging to Nancha County, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Nancha district. It is adjacent to Heli Forestry Bureau in the East, Haolianghe town in the south, Sanchahe forest farm in the West and Nancha in the north. The area is 266.41 square kilometers. In 2018, there were 8462 registered residence population.

In 1949, Chenming village was established. In 1956, Chenming township was established. In 1961, it was changed into Chenming commune. In 1962, it was changed to Chenming office. In 1964, it was changed into Chenming commune. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In November 1985, the township was transformed into a town. As of October 2019, Chenming town has 6 communities and 8 administrative villages.

In 2018, Chenming town has 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
