Ciping town

Ciping town is the administrative center of Jinggangshan City, a county-level city in charge of Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province.

In the center of Ciping is yicui Lake Park, with green shade as cover, lake surface as mirror and pavilions. At the south end of Nanshan Park, the torch platform is majestic. At the north end, there is a sculpture garden. The national famous sculptors, such as bronze, white marble and granite, have carved 17 figures who are slightly larger than the real people and are the first to engage in revolutionary activities in Jinggangshan. It is the political, economic, cultural and commercial center of Jinggangshan City. It is located at the north foot of the main peak of Jinggangshan mountain. History of Ciping town

In August 1949, Ciping was liberated. In 1950, Ciping, which originally belonged to Yongxin County, was put under the jurisdiction of Suichuan County and became Jinggangshan township of Suichuan County; in the same year, Jinggangshan special area was established in Ciping. In 1959, Jinggangshan Administration Bureau was established. In 1981, Jinggangshan county was established. Since then, Ciping town has become the political, economic, cultural and tourist reception center of Jinggangshan. in December 1995, the sub district office was set up in Ciping town. In April 2005, the administrative center of Jinggangshan City officially moved from Ciping street in the old urban area to Xiaping town in the new urban area at the foot of the mountain.
