Mishan town, under the jurisdiction of Mishan City, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle of Mishan City, bordering Heping Korean nationality township in the East, Dangbi Town in the south, lianzhushan town in the West and Peide town in the north, with a total administrative area of 165 square kilometers.
In 1912, it was named erdaogang. In May 1976, it was changed from Mishan commune to Mishan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Mishan town was 17672. In 2019, Mishan town governs 14 administrative villages.
Rice is the main food crop in Mishan town, and fine arts mirror, asbestos, plastic, clothing and brick factory are the main industries in Mishan town. History of construction
In 1912, it was named erdaogang. In 1922, it was named wanfadong, defadong, dongshunyuan, etc. In the 17th year of the Republic of China (1928), it was called four person class, belonging to Lianzhu Shanbao, Mishan county. In 1933, erdaogangjia was set up. In November of 1936, xinmishan independence group was established. In January 1939, it was changed to new Mishan street, and in May of the same year, it was changed to Dong'an street. In May 1940, Dong'an street was directly under the jurisdiction of Dong'an province. In 1942, Dong'an street was promoted to the city. In June 1946, Mishan county was stationed in Dong'an street; in July of the same year, the CPC Dong'an prefectural committee and Dong'an Commissioner's office moved from Jining county to Dong'an city; in October of the same year, Mishan county government moved from Dong'an street to Chengguan District. In October 1947, Mishan County moved to Dong'an street, which was changed into a district. In April 1948, Dong'an city was set up in Dongxing District. In July of the same year, Dong'an city was withdrawn.
In April 1950, Dongxing District was changed into a district.
In June 1955, the first district was changed into Mishan town.
In August 1958, Mishan town was changed into Mishan town commune.
In May 1976, Mishan town commune was changed into Mishan town.
In March 2001, Shuangsheng township was merged into Mishan town.
In May 2003, six streets in Mishan town were set up as central street.
