In his early years, he studied Peking Opera, and in 1943, he became a member of the film and drama industry because of voice inversion. He has worked as an actor in Shanghai Lianhua film company, China film company, Xuzhou Huaiyi theater company, Qingdao Zhonghua theater company, Shanghai atomic broadcasting theater company, Shanghai movie star theater company and Shanghai popular theater company. Mr. Fu Runsheng died in Shanghai at 12:20 noon on May 14, 2008 at the age of 83. He left a will, no memorial service, and his body will be donated to medical research.
