Shengsheng Township, subordinate to Baiquan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Baiquan County, bordering Guofu town and Sandao town in the East, Xingguo town in the south, Baiquan Town in the West and Xinghua town in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from the county, with a total administrative area of 202 square kilometers.
In 1931, the Northeast was occupied by the Japanese, and the area around Shengsheng Township belonged to Shangyi village; in 1980, it was changed from Shengsheng commune to Shengsheng township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence households in rural areas was 23970. In 2019, Shengxiang will have jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and the people's government will be stationed in group 1 of central village.
The main crops in Shengsheng township are soybean, wheat, flax, etc., which is one of the main production areas of Flax in Baiquan County. In 2018, Shengsheng Township had 2 industrial enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1931, the Northeast was occupied, and Shangyi village was located in Shengsheng township; in 1945, Shangyi district was set up in Baiquan County.
In 1949, it belonged to the eighth district.
In March 1956, Tuanjie Township was set up.
In September 1958, it was renamed united people's commune.
In 1960, Tuanjie people's commune was incorporated into Guofu commune.
In 1962, the United commune was restored.
In May 1977, Tuanjie commune changed its name to Shengsheng commune.
In 1980, Shengsheng commune was changed into Shengsheng township.
