Yangchun town

Yangchun Township, belonging to Yi'an County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the east of Yi'an county. It is connected with Changchun Town of Baiquan County in the East, Jiefang Township in the south, central town in the West and Xinfa Township in the north. The total administrative area is 160 square kilometers. The township government is located in houjiatun, Chang'an village, 23.5km away from the county.

In 1977, Baoquan commune was renamed Yangchun commune, from which Yangchun got its name; in 1984, Yangchun commune was renamed Yangchun township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Yangchun township was 27788.

Yangchun township is one of the main grain producing areas in Yi'an county. The main crops are wheat, corn, flax, potato and so on. In 2018, there were 6 industrial enterprises and 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Yangchun township.

Historical evolution

In 1913, it was named lixiu jieji, belonging to Baiquan County.

In 1916, Baoquan town was established. In 1925, it was transferred to Yi'an county.

In May 1932, Baoquan town was changed into Baoquan town.

In June 1938, Baoquan village was changed from Baoquan village to Baoquan village.

In 1946, Baoquan village was transformed into Baoquan district.

In December 1950, it was renamed District 10.

In May 1955, the Tenth District was renamed Baoquan district.

In February 1956, it was changed into Baoquan district; in August, it was changed into Baoquan township.

In 1958, Baoquan township was transformed into Baoquan commune.

In 1977, Baoquan commune was renamed Yangchun commune.

In 1984, Yangchun commune was transformed into Yangchun township.
