Zhaitou Township, belonging to Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Lingshou County, adjacent to Chenzhuang town in the East, Pingshan County in the southeast, Pingshan County in the south, Nanying Township in the southwest, Nanying Township in the west, Chenzhuang town in the northwest, Chenzhuang town in the north and Chenzhuang town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 107.96 square kilometers.
In 1956, zhaitou township was established; in December 1961, Lingshou county was restored; in 1984, zhaitou township was restored; in January 1996, Zhangjiazhuang township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, 14056 households registered residence in Zhai tou township. As of June 2020, zhaitou township has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 1 Xinhua Road, Sujiazhuang village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of zhaitou township was 10.93 million yuan. In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in zhaitou Township, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1956, zhaitou township was established.
In 1959, it belonged to zhaitou management area of struggle commune.
In October 1958, it was incorporated into Zhengding County.
In 1961, zhaitou commune was established.
In December 1961, Lingshou county was restored.
In 1984, it was restored to zhaitou township.
In January 1996, Zhangjiazhuang township was incorporated.

The Township People's government is stationed at No. 1 Xinhua Road, Sujiazhuang village.

History and culture
Since the Tang Dynasty, this is the road leading to Shanxi. The government established a camp on the top of the mountain, so it is called zhaitou village. Zhaitou Township got its name because the Township People's government was originally stationed in zhaitou village.
famous scenery
The secluded Temple Pagoda is located in shazidong village in the Northwest Mountain Area of Lingshou County, 55 kilometers away from Lingshou county. According to the inscriptions, the temple was built by Gao Rui, king of Zhao county in 557. Square tower plane is square, built on a square stone foundation, 7 levels, about 20 meters high. There is an arch gate in the south of the first floor. Above the second layer, the surface width and height gradually decrease. The eaves of each layer are made of water caltrop teeth. There are 17 small stone Buddha statues of white marble in each layer. With the reduction of the tower layer by layer, the carvings are exquisite. They are precious stone carvings of the Northern Qi Dynasty.
