Songhuajiang Township

Songhuajiang Township, belonging to Bayan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Bayan County, adjacent to Fujiang Township in the East, Manjing town of Bin County across the Songhuajiang River in the south, Yanglin township of Hulan District, Harbin City in the west, and Bayan town in the north. In 2018, the area was 184.75 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 31118.

In 1946, the rich area was set up. In 1950, it was renamed the third district. In 1959, it was renamed Songhuajiang commune. In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. By the end of 2019, Songhuajiang township has jurisdiction over six administrative villages.
