Located in the southeast of Xiangfang city. It is adjacent to Labin railway line in the East, Tongtian street and Anbu street in the west, binsui railway line in the South and Gongbin road and Xincheng street in the north. Historical evolution

It is named after the street under the jurisdiction. During the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it was a district of Binjiang County, which was the boundary between Acheng county and Binjiang county. Since the Qing Dynasty, this area has been a desolate suburb. In 1895 (the 21st year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), after the formation of Anbu street, people gradually came into being. In 1926, Tongtian street and Yanfu Street began to take shape. During the period of northeast occupied by the Japanese, the police station was set up here in 1932, and Tongtian district was set up in 1938. Tongtian Street office was built in 1946 (March 1947). In 1954, it was renamed Tongtian sub district office. In 1960, it was called Tongtian branch. In 1967, it was renamed the Cultural Revolution commune. In 1980, it was changed into Tongtian sub district office. In 1990, it covers an area of 1.09 square kilometers and has a population of 8873 households and 33168 people, of which the Han nationality accounts for 93%. It has jurisdiction over 15 residents committees and 381 residents groups. The office is located at 53 Yanfu street.
