Wangqing Forestry Bureau

Wangqing Forestry Bureau, founded in 1947, is located in Wangqing County in the east of Jilin Province. It is located in the Xueling branch of Laoyeling mountains of Changbai Mountain system. Adjacent to the open cities of Yanji, Hunchun, Tumen and Suifenhe in China, it is one of the six earliest forest industry enterprises in Jilin Province. At present, the company has a forest management area of 304000 hectares, including 292000 hectares of forest land and 40.77 million cubic meters of standing trees. The company has 21 grassroots units and 6 holding companies. The total population of the forest area is 25207, including 7427 registered employees and 3025 on-the-job employees.

In August 2019, it was awarded as "advanced collective for protecting forest and wildlife resources" by the State Forestry and grassland administration.

Wangqing forestry bureau is located in Wangqing County in the east of Jilin Province, which is the Xueling branch of Laoyeling mountain of Changbai Mountain system. The forest improved variety base of Wangqing forestry bureau belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons, long winter and short summer, and cold climate. The first frost period is generally in the middle of September, the last frost period is generally in the middle of May, the frost free period is 110-130 days, and the accumulated temperature is 2110 ℃. The altitude is about 360-1477 meters. The terrain is open, the light is sufficient, the soil layer is deep, the drainage is good, the soil is brown forest soil, the soil pH is neutral, the soil thickness is 45cm. The stand type is coniferous broadleaved mixed forest.
