Longjiao

Longjiao village is located in Xinbao Buyi Township, Wudang District, northeast of Guiyang city. It belongs to Baishuihe area of xiangzhigou provincial scenic spot, 42 km away from Guiyang city and 48 km away from Kaiyang. Covering an area of about 20 square kilometers, the village is composed of five villager groups, namely shanglongjiao, xialongjiao, Xiangzigou, Baishuihe and huluchong, with a total of 223 households and 887 people. Longjiao village is rich in tourism resources, mountains, water, rocks, forests, caves, waterfalls, canyons, karst landscape, cultural relics, ethnic customs have unique and high value. In particular, natural forests with a coverage rate of more than 60% and abundant water resources are the most prominent. The environment quality is good, the water resources are rich, the ditch has water, the water quality is clear up to grade 1-2, the air and water body are basically pollution-free, the species of animals and plants are rich, and the ecology is virtuous circle. There are 3300 hectares of forest in the area. The vegetation and species belong to subtropical green broad-leaved forest belt. There are 156 families and nearly 600 species of vascular plants. There are 22 big ancient trees with a diameter of more than 1 meter, more than 120 ancient trees with a diameter of 50-100 cm at breast height, 10 rare and endangered plants, more than 130 ornamental plants, more than 50 wild vegetables and more than 40 wild fruits. There are 116 species of wild animals, including 9 species of fish, 12 species of amphibians, 12 species of reptiles, 62 species of birds and 21 species of mammals. A large area of natural forest and rich water resources, combined with topography, show a colorful natural landscape, constitute the main characteristics of the scenic spot.
