Dachuan street is under the jurisdiction of Wangqing County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province. On January 19, 2017, the Department of civil affairs of Jilin Province approved the establishment of Dachuan, Xinmin and Changrong Street offices in Wangqing County.

Evolution of organizational system

In 2003, the county government decided (Wang Zhengfa No.7) to set up Dongcheng sub district office and Xicheng sub district office in the urban area of the county, which belong to the agency of the county Party committee and the county government. Established on April 18. Xicheng street is named for its location in the west of Wangqing Town, with an area of 8.5 square kilometers and a population of 29300. It governs Jiangbei, Xinmin, Xinhua and Dongzhen communities, with an office at No. 35 south of Qinglin road. Dongcheng Street is named for its location in the east of Wangqing Town, with a population of 30400. It governs Xingfu, Dachuan, Daming and Nanshan communities, with an office at No. 25 East Wangqing road.

Dachuan sub district office covers an area of 4.27 square kilometers and governs Dachuan, Daming, Xingfu and Nanshan communities with a total population of 58900. Dachuan sub district office is located on the third floor of Xingfu community, 56 Da'an Road South.
