Sandaowan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Yanji City, bordering Zhongan township of Wangqing County in the East, Wudao reservoir in the south, Changxing Township of Antu County in the West and DASHITOU Forestry Bureau in the north, with an administrative area of 559.6 square kilometers.

In Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shangyi society of Nangang Reclamation Bureau; in 1992, it was changed to Sandaowan town. In March 2006, renshenchang community was added; in 2008, coal mine community was added. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in three Bay towns was 8460. As of June 2020, Sandaowan town has two communities and nine administrative villages.

In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Sandaowan town was 4433 yuan. In 2018, Sandaowan town has an industrial enterprise and a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

During the reign of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shangyi society of Nangang Reclamation Bureau.

In 1913, it belonged to Shangyi township of Yanji county.

In 1936, it belonged to Taiping village.

In 1945, it belonged to Sandao village of Taiping District.

In February 1956, it belonged to badaotaiping district.

In 1956, Sandao township was established.

In 1958, Sandao Township changed into a commune.

In 1983, it was changed into Sandaowan township.

In 1991, it was transferred to Yanji city.

In 1992, it was changed to Sandaowan town.

In March 2006, renshenchang community was added.

In 2008, the coal mine community was added.

At the end of 2011, Sandaowan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 9 administrative villages: coal mine, Shenchang, Zhongxin, Donggou, Pinggang, Lishu, Wudao, nanzhangzhi, beizhangzhi, tuntian and Zhibian; 17 resident groups and 48 villager groups.

As of June 2020, Sandaowan town has jurisdiction over two communities and nine administrative villages: Shenchang community, coal mine community, central village, Wudao village, nanzhangzhi village, beizhangzhi village, Donggou village, Pinggang village, tuntian village, Zhibian village and Lishu village. The town people's government is stationed in central village.

Sandaowan town is located in Changbai Mountain system, which is a branch of halba mountain. The main Mountains extend from north to south. The gullies and mountains are intertwined. The slopes are steep and the gullies are narrow. There is no wide valley. The highest point in the town is 1054 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is 370 meters above sea level.
