Jiangong Street

Jiangong street, a street under the jurisdiction of Yanji City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Yanji City, east to Xidong railway line, South to Maoershan, West to the air force and Henan Street, north to the South Bank of Buerhatong River, with a total area of 8.87 square kilometers.

In March 1982, Jiangong street was set up in Henan Street; in 2001, Yannan street was merged into Jiangong street; in 2006, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th villager groups of new countryside in Xiaoying Town, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th villager groups of Dongguang village, and the 5th and 6th villager groups of Changdong village were assigned to Jiangong street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Jiangong street was 76569. As of June 2020, Jiangong street has jurisdiction over 11 communities and another village level unit.

History of construction

In March 1982, He'nan street was built as an engineering street.

In 1990, Yannan street was set up in two streets in Henan Province.

In 2001, Yannan street was merged into Jiangong street.

In 2006, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th villager groups in the new countryside of Xiaoying Town, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th villager groups in Dongguang village, and the 5th and 6th villager groups in Changdong village were assigned to Jiangong street.
