Zhenkou Township
Zhenkou Township, subordinate to Yihuang County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of Yihuang County, 29 kilometers away from Yihuang County, adjacent to Nancheng County in the East, Shengang Township in the south, Zhonggang town in the West and Tangyin town in the north, with a total area of 116.4 square kilometers and seven administrative villages. In late 2018, there were 12 thousand registered residence households in the township.
Zhenkou rural agriculture to tobacco, bamboo, Dictyophora, betel taro, Chinese sturgeon breeding as the pillar industry; local specialty mainly tea oil, sweet potato vermicelli, black bamboo shoots and so on. History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Yankou Township, the Fourth District, and Chenghua Township in the southeast.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, XuXi Township, Yankou Township, Guyuan Township, Makeng Township, Shangxian Township and Fenglin Township belonged to the fourth district (Shengang District); in 1956, they belonged to Yankou Township and Makeng township; in 1958, they were included in Shengang commune; in 1961, Yankou commune and Makeng commune were established; in 1964, Yankou commune and Makeng commune were merged into zhenkou commune; in 1967, zhenkou commune was renamed Dongfeng commune In 1969, Dongfeng commune was renamed zhenkou commune; in June 1984, zhenkou commune was changed to zhenkou township.

The southwest part of zhenkou township has continuous high mountains, and the northeast part has undulating low mountains. The terrain inclines from southeast to northwest. The highest peak is Chonghua mountain, 1193 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is Pingshang formation of zhenkou village, 150 meters above sea level.
