Jinxiang Township

Jinxiang Township, belonging to Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Taobei District, Baicheng city. It borders Linhai town in the East, Mongolia Township in Deshun in the south, Fushun Township in Taonan city across Taoer River in the west, Dongsheng township and Sanhe Township in the north, with an administrative area of 125.9 square kilometers.

In the Qing Dynasty, three years (1911), Xuan Tong was the third Township in Jing'an county (now North of Baicheng). In 1993, it was assigned to the north of the city of Tao. History of construction

Xuantong three years of the Qing Dynasty (1911), is Jing'an county (now Taobei District) third township.

In 1914, it was the fourth jurisdiction of Taoan county (now Taobei District).

In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), it belonged to Weizi fangbao, the Second District of Taoan county.

In 1938, it belonged to Daxing village, a pseudo Baicheng county (now Taobei District).

In 1948, it belonged to Daxing District.

In October 1950, it belonged to the Fourth District of Baicheng county.

In 1956, Jinxiang township was established.

In 1958, the township changed into a commune and was transferred to Taoan county (now Taonan city).
