Minhe Dong Tujia Miao township is located in the southeast of Jiangkou County, adjacent to Daping township of Tongren City in the East, Yangqiao Township and kaiben township of cengong County in the south, Gonghe Township and Minxiao town of benxian County in the west, Shuangjiang town and Bapan Township in the north. It is about 20.4 km long from east to west and 17.9 km wide from north to south, covering an area of 214 square kilometers.
