Kouqian Town, belonging to Yongji County, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Yongji County, bordering Fengman District, Jilin City in the East, Beidahu town in the south, Xiyang town in the west, dasuihe Town, soudengzhan town and qianerdao Township in Chuanying District in the north. History of construction

In 1817, it belonged to xingrang society in Yongji Prefecture.

In 1913, it belonged to xingrang Town, Jilin Province. In July 1948, Kouqian district was established.

In February 1957, Kouqian district was changed to Kouqian township.

In 1958, Kouqian township was changed into kouqian commune.

In November 1975, xikouqian commune was established in kouqian town.

In 1984, kouqian commune was changed to Kouqian township.

In June 1999, kouqian town and kouqian Township were merged into Yongji Economic Development Zone in Jilin Province.
