Qiutou Town, subordinate to Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is managed by Shijiazhuang circular chemical industry park. It is located in the southwest of Gaocheng District, bordering Nanying town in the East, Luancheng District in the south, Shijiazhuang high tech Industrial Development Zone in the west, Shijiazhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Gangshang town in the north, with an administrative area of 54.21 square kilometers.
Qiutou town was originally named Chongyi; in 488, Gaocheng county was re established as the county seat; in August 1985, qiutou town was re established; in January 1996, Liyang Town was incorporated. By the end of 2018, 54159 households had registered residence in the town of Qiu tou. As of June 2020, qiutou town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in qiutou village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of qiutou town was 104 million yuan, an increase of 16% over the previous year. From the perspective of various major taxes, the national tax was 61.26 million yuan, and the local tax was 42.74 million yuan. The per capita fiscal revenue was 2176 yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 9701 yuan. In 2018, there were 211 industrial enterprises in qiutou Town, including 28 Enterprises above Designated Size and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Qiutou town was formerly known as Chongyi.
In the 12th year of Taihe (488) of the Northern Wei Dynasty, Gaocheng county was restored as the county seat.
In the Northern Qi Dynasty, Julu County was set up as the county seat.
At the beginning of the Sui Dynasty, the county was abolished. In the third year of Daye (607), the county government was moved from Chongyi to Lianzhou.
In Ming Dynasty, qiutou society was established.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chonggang camp.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to four districts of Gaocheng district.
In April 1938, the Fourth District of the Anti Japanese democratic government of Gaocheng district was changed from Chongyi to qiutou.
In November 1947, Gaocheng was restored to its original system, which successively belonged to four or six districts.
After 1949, it was divided into six and four districts in Gaocheng county.
In July 1953, qiutou township was established.
In June 1956, qiutou township was set up after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged.
In August 1958, it belonged to happy commune; in November of the same year, it belonged to Datong commune.
In May 1961, qiutou commune was established.
In January 1984, qiutou township was established.
In August 1985, it was changed to qiutou town.
In January 1996, Liyang Town was incorporated.

As of June 2020, qiutou town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages: qiutou village, Nanle village, Beile village, dongkuanting village, xikuanting village, Qiaoban village, tongjiazhuang village, Liyang village, Jinzhuang village, Xucun village, Caojiazhuang village, Zhoujiazhuang village and Tishang village. The town people's government is stationed in qiutou village.
