Xiaozhuangzi town

Xiaozhuangzi Town, subordinate to Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Suizhong County, adjacent to Bohai Bay in the East, adjacent to tashantun town and Suizhong town in the south, West and northwest, and facing Xingcheng city across Liugu River in the north, with an administrative area of 85.45 square kilometers.

In 1931, it belonged to xiaozhuangzi, Wanbaoshan and Gujiazi in Suizhong County; in 2000, it abolished Manchu Township of xiaozhuangzi and established xiaozhuangzi town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in small town Chuang-tzu was 34681. As of June 2020, xiaozhuangzi town has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of xiaozhuangzi town is located in Haiquan village.

In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in xiaozhuangzi town and 104 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1931, they belonged to xiaozhuangzi, Wanbaoshan and Gujiazi in Suizhong County.

In 1946, it belonged to Baozhuang township.

In 1948, it belonged to 11 districts of xiaozhuangzi.

In 1958, it belonged to Tashan Ukrainian commune.

In 1961, xiaozhuangzi commune was established.

In 1983, it was changed to xiaozhuangzi township.

In 1984, it was renamed xiaozhuangzi Manchu Township.

In 2000, xiaozhuangzi Manchu Township was abolished and xiaozhuangzi town was established.

At the end of 2011, xiaozhuangzi town has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages: xiaozhuangzi, Shiguan, dalijintun, Xiaoli, Majiawa, Yanguo, dayuchang, Baocang, Yeda, Haiquan village, Yong'an village, Lingjia, Gujiazi, daquezhuangzi, Zhang'an and erhekou, with 35 natural villages.

As of June 2020, xiaozhuangzi town has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of xiaozhuangzi town is located in Haiquan village.

In the total population, there are 20321 Manchu, accounting for 57.9%; there are 14804 Han, Hui, Korean, Mongolian and other nationalities, accounting for 42.1%. In 2011, the birth rate was 6.8 ‰, the death rate was 6.7 ‰, and the natural growth rate was 0.1 ‰. The population density is 390.3 per square kilometer.

History and culture

In 1673, the Ye family moved from Dengzhou, Shandong Province to settle down in xiaozhuangzi town. At that time, Zhuangzi was younger and all had the Ye family name, so it was named. Later it was called xiaozhuangzi for short.
