Xiumen Street

Xiumen street is located in Qiaodong District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, which is the main birthplace of Shijiazhuang city. With xiumen street and Sizhong road as the core, it extends to the center line of Jianshe South Street in the East, to the east of Pingan South Street in the west, to the north of Yuhua Road in the South and to the south of Zhongshan Road in the north.

It was called xiumen office from May 1956 to March 1959, xiumen Management District Committee from March 1959 to February 1960, xiumen branch of Qiaodong District People's commune from February 1960 to December 1969, xiumen Wuqi commune from December 1969 to August 1974, xiumen people's commune from August 1974 to March 1979, xiumen office from March 1979 to October 1987, and xiumen sub district office from October 1987. It was renamed xiumen sub district office in November 2001.

The sub district office also moved from the original 48 Xiangdong street to 20 xiumen street. The reconstruction of xiumen area C has been basically completed, and D and E are in the process of demolition. There are four fitness paths, Hebei Grand Theater square, Youth Palace Square, Ping'an Park and 1050 square meters of indoor activity places in the community sports center.
