Suzhou high tech entrepreneurship service center was established in 1994. It is a public welfare science and technology intermediary to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, cultivate high-tech enterprises and provide comprehensive services for entrepreneurs.
Basic introduction
In 1996, it became one of the first three "international business incubators" in China; in 1998, it was rated as one of the first ten national "high tech entrepreneurship service centers" by the Ministry of science and technology; in the same year, the Ministry of education, the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China and other units jointly established the "Suzhou Overseas Chinese entrepreneurship Park". Since its establishment, Suzhou high tech entrepreneurship service center has accumulated 150000 square meters of incubation space and more than 1000 enterprises. More than 8000 scientific and technological personnel were gathered, including more than 1300 with medium and senior professional titles, and more than 600 overseas students were introduced, including more than 200 doctors and nearly 400 masters. More than 1000 high-tech projects have been developed, including 9 National "863" projects, 1 "973" project, several national key projects and Torch Program. In the past years of scientific research and development, nearly 200 national patents have been formed. There are nearly 300 graduated enterprises, and the accumulated sales revenue is more than 14 billion yuan.

At the end of 1999, the entrepreneurship center was awarded "China Youth Science and technology innovation action demonstration base" by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. In November 2000, it was jointly evaluated as the "pilot project of national entrepreneurship Park for overseas students" by the Ministry of science and technology, Ministry of personnel and Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. In May 2001, the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China jointly awarded the title of "National Demonstration Park". In September 2001, the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China awarded the title of "national advanced incubator unit". At the end of the year, the Ministry of science and technology of the people's Republic of China awarded the title of "national advanced incubator unit". It was awarded the title of "advanced incubator unit" by Jiangsu provincial government, and won the first prize in the network evaluation.
