History of construction

In 1953, it was Zhaiying Township, Zhentou district.

In 1958, it first belonged to Dongfeng commune and then changed to Zhaiying management area of Zhaotong commune.

In the winter of 1959, it belonged to Hedong branch of Chang'an commune.

In 1961, Zhaiying commune was founded.

In 1965, it was renamed Tan Gu commune.

On May 17, 1984, Tan Gu township was established.

In 2001, the original suburb was assigned to Chang'an District and changed to tan Gu street.
