Changying District
Changying district (District Office) belongs to Chaoyang District of Beijing. It is the only ethnic minority Township in the suburbs of Beijing. In 2001, it was included in the construction scope of green isolated area by the municipal government. It is located in the east of the District, 12.4km away from Ritan Park. It is adjacent to dengjiayao village in Tongzhou District in the East, Huangqu village in Pingfang Township in the west, Guanzhuang Township in the south, louzizhuang Township and Dongba Township in the north. It covers an area of 9.3 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 128091 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 10 administrative villages. The office is located in the north of Changying national home. Guanzhuang road passes through. There are ancient mosques built in Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty.

Historical evolution
In the early Ming Dynasty, Chang Yuchun, a general, attacked the Yuan Dynasty in the north. He once stationed troops in the countryside and set up a camp, which was called Changying. Later, he became a Hui settlement.
Before 1958, it was a township under the jurisdiction of Tongxian county. In 1958, it was assigned to Chaoyang commune of Chaoyang District. In 1959, it belonged to Shuangqiao commune. In 1983, it was changed to a township.
In 1996, Changying Hui nationality township covers an area of 8.8 square kilometers and has a population of 9000, of which 50% are Hui nationality. It has jurisdiction over Wuliqiao, Gongzhufen, dongshilibu, Changying No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4, No.5, No.7 10 administrative villages and Changying Township and Changying Yiju 2 neighborhood committees.
In December 2002, the 147th mayor's office meeting agreed to set up a regional office in Changying Hui nationality township, implementing the system of "one set of people, two brands". At the same time, Changying Hui nationality township (Regional Office) was renamed Changying Hui nationality township (Regional Office). The office is located in the west of North Road of Changying village, covering an area of 9.62 square kilometers, with a population of 19000, and has jurisdiction over Changying first, Changying second and Changying There are 10 administrative villages in Changying third, Changying fourth, Changying fifth, Changying sixth, Changying seventh, Shilipu, Wuliqiao and thatched cottage.

Regional characteristics
Changying Hui nationality township is located in the east of Chaoyang District. It is the only minority nationality township in Beijing suburb and Beijing green isolated area. It belongs to the CBD Dingfuzhuang international media corridor. In 2000, it was integrated into the construction scope of Beijing green isolated area. In 2008, it completed the task of overall demolition and resettlement, and fully implemented the urban community management system. There is a "Changying mosque" with a history of more than 500 years. It was built in the Zhengde period of Zhu houzhao, Emperor Wuzong of Ming Dynasty. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Chaoyang District. Changying park is famous for its Ginkgo biloba and has become a famous tourist attraction in Beijing in autumn.
