Hot spring New Area

Established in 2012, Wenquan new area is located in Jingshan City, Hubei Province. It is a pilot area for comprehensive reform of "two oriented" society in Hubei Province. It is also the core of Jingshan global tourism drive and an agency of Jingshan Municipal People's government.

The planning core area of Wenquan new area is 36 square kilometers, which is the core part of the A-shaped spatial structure planning of "two axes, three districts and six groups" in the main urban area of Jingshan city. The planning has one axis (urban leisure development axis), one area (life development area) and two groups (Binhe New Area sub center group and Tangyan Tourism Leisure Resort Group), which is the key to the future green development and urban function expansion of Jingshan Key core. On August 9, 2017, the State General Administration of sports approved the hot spring new area as a pilot of "tennis town with Chinese characteristics".

Taking Jingshan River as the development axis and tennis town as the core, the new hot spring area has formed two major industries, namely tennis sports and hot spring health preservation, supporting the functions of culture, education and tourism in the old urban area, vigorously promoting the integrated development of urban and rural areas, establishing the benchmark of ecological construction, and striving to drive the development of tourism in the whole area of Jingshan.

After scientific demonstration and overall planning, the hot spring new area, guided by market demand, has established three demonstration sites, namely "tennis sports tourism demonstration site, hot spring health tourism demonstration site, and cultural education tourism demonstration site", and the overall rural tourism strategic positioning guided by the public brand of "tennis town · weimeiquan village", according to the principle of "new area built into scenic spot and village built into scenery" The two development goals of "two oriented society experimental demonstration area in Hubei Province" and "urban-rural integration and global tourism demonstration town in Hubei Province" are firmly established. Jingshan campus of Hankou University

Jingshan campus of Hankou university is located in Wenquan New District, Jingshan City, Hubei Province, with a planning area of about 500 mu. The planning and design reflect the characteristics of taking advantage of the mountain and integrating into the environment. The project is divided into two phases. It will build graphic complex building, teaching group, canteen, activity center, gymnasium, dormitory building, teachers' apartment, expert reception building and other supporting facilities. It is committed to building landscape campus, context campus, shared campus, innovative campus and green campus.

Phase I campus covers an area of 300 mu, with a construction area of 95000 square meters and a designed enrollment scale of 6000 people. It is expected to be completed and put into use in September 2021. The main functions of the project include teaching, experiment, administration, dormitory, canteen, reception building, etc., forming the main interface of the campus; the second phase of the project will eventually form the overall layout of the campus, with an estimated total area of 500 mu, a construction area of 420000 square meters, a floor area ratio of 1.2, a total investment of 2.56 billion yuan, and a total enrollment of 15000 people.

Hubei tennis school

As the only "city with Chinese tennis characteristics" in China, Jingshan has a large tennis population, rich sports atmosphere, and tennis culture is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
