Xiadahe Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located at the foot of Qianshan Mountain in the southeast of Liaoyang County, upstream of Tanghe Reservoir, bordering Helan town in the East and Southeast, Bahui town in the southwest, Yiling of Anshan City in the West and northwest, Lanjia town in the north and northeast, with an administrative area of 138.2 square kilometers.

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County; in December 1968, Dongfeng commune was established, which belonged to Lanjia district; in May 1985, Dongfeng commune was changed to xiahexiang. By the end of 2018, 9005 people had registered residence in the township. As of June 2020, 8 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Xiahe township.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Hexiang was 6.99 million yuan. The local fiscal revenue was 4.92 million yuan. In 2018, there were 45 industrial enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.

In December 1968, Dongfeng commune was established, belonging to Lanjia district.

In May 1978, it belongs to Shoushan district.

In April 1980, it belongs to Liaoyang County.

In May 1985, Dongfeng commune was changed into xiahexiang.

At the end of 2011, xiaxiahe Township had 8 administrative villages: xiaxiahe, daniuling, xialiulinzi, Xiajian, dongxinbao, Miaoergou, Daxigou and gunnergou, with 80 villager groups.

As of June 2020, xialiulinzi village, paoshougou village, daniuling village, xiaxiahe village, dongxinbao village, Daxigou village, Miaoergou village and jianxigou village are under the jurisdiction of xialiuhe Township, and the Township People's government is stationed in xiaxiahe village.
