Shoushan Town, belonging to Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the middle of Liaoyang County, adjacent to Anshan City in the south, Xinglong Town in the West and Liaoyang in the north, with an administrative area of 82.08 square kilometers.

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County; on January 1, 1981, the original Shoushan township was divided into Shoushan Town, which belonged to Liaoyang County. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Shoushan town was 74332. As of June 2020, Shoushan town has 13 communities and 8 administrative villages.

History of construction

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.

In August 1968, it belongs to Lanjia district.

famous scenery

Qingfeng temple is located on the south slope of Shoushan mountain in the southwest of Liaoyang City. It was first built in 1517, the 44th year of Qianlong (1779) and the 7th year of Xianfeng (1857). The main hall and the auxiliary hall still maintain the structure and style of the early construction, and the mountain gate, the back hall and the gatehouse were built in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1988, Qingfeng temple was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit in Liaoning Province.
