Reza Township

Reza township is located in the east of Razi County, 45 kilometers away from the county government, with Liuxiang in the East, Xiqin Township in the west, Razi town in the north and charong Township in Sakya County in the south.

Reza Township governs 10 administrative villages with 3969 people (in 2017), with a total area of 517.33 square kilometers and an average altitude of 4300 meters. The township government is located at 4200 meters above sea level. The township has 18 administrative staff and 6 institution staff, 14 cadres and workers (including 6 leading members) and 111 party members (including 86 farmers and herdsmen). There is a temple with three monks (nuns).

Economics

RESA township is rich in mineral resources and convenient transportation. Its economic structure is mainly animal husbandry, with 5747 mu of arable land, mainly producing highland barley and other crops; 770000 mu of grassland, mainly raising sheep and other livestock; 340 mu of forest land, mainly including poplar and other forest resources; and 700 mu of wetland. In 2010, the GDP of the township reached 15.09 million yuan (including 6.05 million yuan for the primary industry, 8 million yuan for the secondary industry and 1.04 million yuan for the tertiary industry), the ratio of primary, secondary and tertiary industries was 40:53:7; the per capita GDP was 4073 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen was 3048.47 yuan, of which the cash income was 1839.57 yuan, accounting for 60.3%; the total grain and oil output was 2.5272 million jin, with 38697 livestock in stock at the end of the year; and the labor export was 2.2% 000 person times, with a revenue of 6.16 million yuan.
